Yes, this is a delivery PT Cruiser Mooser.
They have a few. They also have the silhouettes of the PTs on their menus, takeout bags, etc. I wonder what they’re going to do when they run them all into the ground, provided they haven’t already....
The view from our hotel room was unimpressive, so here’s a Duck from out of one of the lobby’s windows.
Downtown
Not sure if goal post, or really poor attempt at preventing any more rear end damage.
Sam Raimi?
Nothing says Wisconsin like a rusting Ford and a ketchup packet stuck to its power running board .
My daughters had a dance clinic at the Kalahari in the Dells, so while they danced all weekend the wife and I went and did some adult things like wine tastings, spa massages, shopping at stores the kids would hate, and eating WAY TOO MUCH FOOD.
mmmmm S’mores French Toast.....

They’ve been using those PT cruisers for at least 10 years, so either they’re kept in great shape, or there is a secret PT Cruiser-moose graveyard somewhere.

Shoulda let me know you were nearby, could have gotten the kids together and sat around talking stupid.

It was sorta last minute. I wasn’t sure I was even going to go. Plus we had to be up at 6am Saturday and Sunday so I wasn’t sure how much time I was going to spend cat napping while the girls were away.

We were in the Dells a couple years ago and I remember seeing more of them... There’s probably a whole graveyard of PTs being cannibalized to keep these on the road.
But with parts availability and rust a real concern I wonder how many years they have left...

I can’t imagine they last more than a few years in Wisconsin winters.

The rockers have to be GONE on them. And they do not make new or aftermarket panels.
So they’re gonna either need custom metal fabbed in, or really poorly done patchwork.
I can’t imagine being in charge of that fleet and throwing all kinds of money at them. Unless that restaurant makes money hand over fist between the food, the beer, and the soda they make in house.
They surely do not spend it on hiring decent wait staff. I had a pretty lousy server last night.

I would guess they do make money hand over fist, but at some point they have to switch to something that’s actually still made, right? Its like the old red bull cars based on the Suzuki X-90. You used to see them all over, now it rare.

You’d be surprised how long a delivery place can make a vehicle move under it’s own power. There was a pizza place in the town I went to teac her school in that had a fleet of something like 20 early-mid 80's 2-door K-cars, and this was in 2005. I’m curious to go back there, and see if any of them are still running around.

If they ever sell the fleet and they are cheap we as Oppo need to buy them all. Then race as many as possible in the same Lemons race
It will be the Great Oppo Moose Invasion!

They sold a lot of PT Cruisers. I’d imagine it will be at least another decade before they are rare enough that getting parts or replacement vehicles would be prohibitively expensive.
